Coffey Shots Media is currently offering Fresh48 Newborn Mini-Sessions in the evenings at HCA North Florida Hospital and UF Health Shands Hospital.
With previous experience as an in-hospital photographer, I have completed extensive medical screenings, background checks, and security clearances for multiple hospitals across North Florida, including both facilities in Gainesville. This background provides familiarity with hospital protocols, staff, and working with newborns in a clinical setting.
Yes, I used to work for [the hospital-contracted photography company, which shall remain nameless] and I loved the job and the the hospital staff but, these moms wanted and deserved more than that company would allow. I knew I could provide a better service for them.
These are comparisons of other in-hospital photographer rates, not in-studio newborn photographers.

These brief, in-hospital sessions are designed for convenience and comfort within hours of birth, while respecting the care needed for mom and baby. Longer, more involved newborn sessions with outfit changes and elaborate props typically occur within the first month and are priced higher due to the time, detail and studio space involved. There are many excellent local photographers offering these services.
Payments are accepted at the end of the session. All major credit cards, cash, Venmo, and Apple Cash are welcome. A credit card is required to book an appointment, but it will not be charged until the session ends to allow for coupon usage.
